Job Overview

Fidelity Services Group, Southern Africa’s largest integrated security solutions provider, is appointing a Regional General Manager – North in Johannesburg (permanent; reference 210314; posted 3 November 2026; apply before 20 November 2026). The role carries full P&L responsibility for the region’s Residential and Small Business unit, overseeing sales, technical installation and servicing, localised community security schemes, administration and EHS.

The Regional GM designs and executes regional growth strategy – including greenfield expansion and acquisition opportunities – drives sales targets, margins and revenue per unit, manages vehicle, labour and overhead costs, leads Sales, Technical and Regional Admin managers within a matrix structure, and builds a robust, winning business culture.

Key Responsibilities

Own the regional profit-and-loss centre, budgets (revenue and capex) and forecasting
Control vehicle, direct labour and overhead costs to optimise cost of service delivery
Achieve sales targets across channels – new units, RPU and technical revenue – while protecting margins
Design growth strategy for districts and branches; evaluate greenfield expansion and acquisition opportunities
Manage profitability of Localised Security Schemes, intervening in unprofitable areas
Lead Sales, Technical and Regional Admin managers; drive operational delivery across alarm services, armed response and guarding
Resolve escalated customer complaints and maintain key client relationships
Drive EHS standards, a zero-harm culture, performance management, succession and employment equity

Required Qualifications

University degree (BCom or similar); postgraduate qualification highly advantageous
Minimum 3–5 years in a senior management role with sales and customer service accountability
Strong sales metrics, financial management and analytics capability
Experience with business systems and processes in a multi-branch operation
PSIRA Grade B registration
