Head of Finance

Head of Finance for a leading open-cast mining group’s corporate offices in Johannesburg. Oversee Finance and Payroll departments including financial planning and analysis and budgeting for the group. Oversee all financial operational tasks including treasury, debtors, creditors, fixed assets, financing arrangements, and payroll. Lead group financial planning processes and assist with 3-year business plans and budget deviation analysis. Prepare monthly presentations and financial reports to the Financial Director. Prepare consolidations across the group and lead Annual Financial Statement preparations. Update cashflow requirements weekly. Analyse and validate projects and overhead costs. Project-manage ERP upgrade implementation. Review VAT submissions and prepare tax computations.
