General Manager / Operations Director

Take full operational ownership of an established manufacturing and installation business in the timber roofing industry. Lead production management, strategic operations, and day-to-day performance within a technical construction or manufacturing environment. Drive operational excellence, commercial outcomes, and leadership of production and site teams. Set operational priorities, oversee production throughput and quality, manage site delivery performance, and partner with commercial stakeholders on pricing, capacity, and growth initiatives.

Tertiary qualification in Operations Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (advantageous). Proven senior management experience (minimum 8–10 years) in manufacturing, timber structures, or construction. Strong leadership and people management capabilities with a track record of operational excellence. Sound financial and commercial acumen. Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
