Chief Operating Officer

Become the central operational pillar of a leading Cape Town financial services organisation, driving operational excellence across multiple funds and investment vehicles. Serve as primary contact for fund administrators and CFOs; lead investor onboarding; oversee treasury, cash management, and fund liquidity across funds and SPVs; manage capital calls; ensure fund governance, compliance, and reporting; coordinate fund operations; partner with investment teams on capital planning; oversee portfolio reporting and performance insights for partners and investors.

Proven experience managing complex organisations or business units with sole accountability for operational outcomes. Background as COO or CFO at a startup/scale-up, or COO within an investment fund, including building or scaling teams. Intimate understanding of fundraising operations, investor onboarding, and post-close investor satisfaction. Fluency in cash and liquidity dynamics across multiple funds/jurisdictions. Strong financial literacy covering complex reporting, governance, and compliance without defaulting into a pure finance role.
