Senior Finance Manager / CFO

Interim Chief Financial Officer role for the South African subsidiary of a global logistics business (minimum 3 months, with potential extension). Oversee financial operations and work closely with the Corporate CFO in Europe while managing a local finance team of seven. Manage year-end processes, audits, and regulatory compliance; lead AP/AR, treasury, HR and legal support functions; provide profitability analysis by customer, route, and business line; support ERP proposal work across Xero and SAP environments; conduct internal audits; coordinate with country managers across the group structure.

Proven experience as a CFO or Senior Finance Manager in an operational finance role. Strong technical expertise in financial management, audits, and ERP systems. Industry experience in logistics, road freight, air/sea freight, or related sectors highly desirable. Ability to analyse profitability by customer and business line. Excellent leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams across multiple functions.
