Senior Legal Advisor

• Provide legal advice and support across organisational functions

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements

• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations relevant to the retail/distribution industry

• Identify, manage, and mitigate legal risks with practical solutions

• Collaborate with external legal counsel as required

• Assist with dispute resolution and litigation management

• Stay current with legal developments affecting the retail sector

• Support strategic goals through sound commercial legal guidance

• Handle complex matters spanning local and international jurisdictions

• Law degree or equivalent qualification

• Minimum 5 years’ post-admission legal experience (large law firm, corporate, or multinational preferred)

• Strong contract drafting from scratch, review, and negotiation experience

• Knowledge of commercial-law compliance requirements

• Experience managing legal risk, litigation, and local/global legislative compliance

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Proven expertise handling legal matters in a corporate environment
