Job Overview

Lead the multidisciplinary engineering team for a steel manufacturing cold products division, delivering safety, operational excellence, asset management, cost control, and people development. Enforce engineering standards and asset management practices, drive equipment availability, reliability, capability, efficiency, and quality, and optimise life-cycle asset costs. Build a high-performing, proactive engineering culture, drive continuous improvement across equipment, systems and people, and plan resources, technology, and obsolescence for the future.

Required Qualifications

BSc/BEng/BTech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Government Certificate of Competency – Factories with at least 5 years as GMR2. Minimum 10 years senior management experience in heavy industrial manufacturing. Strong people management and multi-disciplinary leadership. Outcomes-driven on safety, OEE, MTBF, MTTR and cost, with solid asset management and capital project experience preferred.
