Job Overview

Hire Resolve is recruiting for an established engineering organisation in Pretoria seeking a Senior Engineer / Technical Director to provide technical leadership across water resilience, water infrastructure and related engineering disciplines.

You will oversee project delivery, set technical standards and design review procedures, mentor engineers toward ECSA registration, manage client relationships and contribute to proposals and practice growth, including specialist services in water treatment, groundwater, wastewater reuse and smart water monitoring.

The role suits a Pr Eng civil or mechanical engineer with extensive water engineering, wet services or infrastructure delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead water infrastructure and wet services projects from inception to completion

• Review designs, drawings, calculations and technical reports

• Establish technical standards and QA processes

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers toward ECSA registration

• Manage scope, budgets, fees, variations, risks and deliverables

• Build client relationships and support business development

• Develop specialist water resilience and reuse services

Required Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

• ECSA Pr Eng registration or imminent registration

• Extensive water engineering, wet services or infrastructure delivery experience

• Advantageous: SANS 10252/10400, Revit, Civil 3D, JBCC/NEC/FIDIC

• Valid driver's licence
