Senior Application Support Engineer – Client Platform
Job Overview
Goldman Tech Resourcing's client is seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer in KwaZulu-Natal to take ownership of enterprise client deployments across desktop, server, application and network environments.
This hands-on role moves between C# code, Vue.js/Electron diagnostics, Windows and Linux environments and complex corporate networking — firewalls, proxies, certificates, PKI, TLS and allowlisting — with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
It suits someone with 5+ years in technical support, solutions or platform engineering who can run remote sessions with enterprise IT teams and document clearly.
Key Responsibilities
• Own enterprise client deployments across desktop, server, application and network environments
• Diagnose issues from C# code, stack traces and logs
• Troubleshoot Vue.js and Electron apps including IPC, packaging and updates
• Make small safe fixes in Angular applications
• Install, configure and troubleshoot .NET applications
• Resolve firewall, proxy, certificate, PKI and TLS connectivity issues
• Conduct remote technical sessions and installations with client IT teams
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years in technical support, solutions engineering or platform engineering
• Strong hands-on C# and Vue.js/Electron diagnostic experience
• Windows and Linux command-line experience
• Proficiency with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
• Strong written and verbal communication
