Job Overview
Implement and maintain the multiple SAP systems that comprise the SAP environment (development, test, training and production). Provide daily support to production-support teams and end-users on incidents, requests, technical and performance problems.
Key Responsibilities
Identify SAP system issues and implement solutions. Maintain integrity of the SAP environment by managing the Change and Transport System. Introduce technical changes using a structured approach. Design and implement optimal SAP configuration. Install and configure SAP database and application servers. Distribute online user workload and manage background-job workload. Maintain SAP performance through tuning. Administer SAP Solution Manager. Perform SAP client administration. Develop and maintain system documentation. Support Disaster Recovery and DR testing.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's in Management Information Systems or equivalent technical experience. 6 years SAP database administration with SAP R/3 and HANA in Linux (preferably RHEL). 6+ years SAP Basis. Strong SAP high-availability background. SAP HANA on RHEL clusters, SAP on Microsoft SQL, SAP on VMware, Solution Manager lifecycle. Linux, Windows, SAP NetWeaver, HANA, networks, VMware. At least 4 implementation projects and 4 upgrade projects for SAP ABAP and JAVA systems.
