Job Overview

CA Select is hiring a Regional Manager: Commercial in Johannesburg for a leading organisation. This CA(SA) leadership role drives regional financial performance, commercial decision support, and multi-site commercial operations with a clear line of sight to profitability and growth.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, large commercial contracts, KPI discipline, and internal controls while mentoring a high-performing finance team and partnering the executive team with actionable insight.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead regional commercial strategy with insightful financial analysis and executive decision support

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and detailed variance analysis for the region

• Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives

• Manage large-scale commercial contracts and negotiations for risk mitigation and value

• Monitor regional KPIs and drive corrective actions

• Ensure robust internal controls and compliance across regional business units

• Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team

• Translate financial data into actionable business insights for leadership

Required Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualification essential

• Minimum 8–10 years’ post-article experience in senior commercial or financial management

• Proven regional or multi-site leadership in a large-scale corporate environment

• Strong strategic thinking; ability to turn financial data into business insight

• Advanced ERP and financial modelling proficiency

• Exceptional negotiation and complex stakeholder management skills

• Deep understanding of South African regulatory and compliance standards
