Job Overview

Michael Page is representing a leading African technology company seeking a Head of Product (Gauteng, permanent, work-from-home flexibility) to lead product strategy and commercial success of a growing software portfolio across African markets. The client builds digital solutions that help organisations improve operational efficiency, financial inclusion and business performance.

The role blends product leadership with commercial accountability—roadmap ownership, pricing, go-to-market and profitability—partnering Sales, Engineering, Marketing and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the company’s product strategy and roadmap.

Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers.

Drive product commercialisation, pricing strategies and profitability.

Define and execute go-to-market plans for new and existing products.

Identify opportunities for product innovation and revenue growth.

Monitor product performance against commercial objectives.

Partner with Sales, Engineering, Marketing and Executive Leadership to deliver strategic business goals.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience leading Product Management teams within a software or technology business. Strong commercial mindset with a track record of driving product revenue and profitability. Experience developing product strategy, pricing and go-to-market plans. Exposure to software products and digital platforms. Permanent role offering life provident fund and annual bonus.
