Developer (Senior)

Matric with English and Mathematics

Minimum IT degree level education (BCom or BSc in information systems or computer science)

Minimum of 3+ years’ Java experience systems development experience.

Experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, ORM, Angular, Maven, Git.

Strong experience in SOAP, XML/XSD, WSDL, Rest, JSON, Swagger, and OpenAPI.

Unit testing and mocking frameworks.

Knowledge of OO design principles and development patterns

Distributed systems and microservices

Secure software development practices

Vulnerability assessment and remediation

Relational databases and Pl/SQL (Oracle) (advantageous)

Presentation layer development (HTML5, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, Angular, J2EE/J2E and application servers -Weblogic).

Strong documentation skills in technical and architecture specifications (Elastic/OpenSearch)

Exposure to both Agile and Waterfall SDLC

Experience in DevOps tools like automation, CI/CD, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Ansible, Jira, Confluence Atlassian Suite.

Beneficial experience working with containers (Docker, Kubernetes)

Beneficial experience in Angular 3+, JavaScript, Bootstrap

Beneficial experience in Security (SAML, OAuth2, JWT, encryption, OIDC, Dynatrace, SAST/DAST
